a few head shots i took of matt, it was really nice to take pictures of a boy plus he's family so it was a pretty relaxed, plus matt being an actor/dancer made poses and facial expressions come naturally.

i feel like i've learnt allot about studio work over the last few months, i still think i'll always be a location girl but its nice to actually be warm on a shoot! 

after we ate allllooottttt of food (about three meals in the space of six hours, of course pancakes were involved...) i managed to be skilful as ever and flip a pancake down the back of the oven, yup you know you wish you could cook like me...ahem...

i love shooting with gabs, in-between her being a super babe in front of the camera, we had tea and cream eggs as well as dancing to beyonce!

i'm so pleased about how magical the studio shots came out (gabs bedroom, shhh its a secret) 

i wanted the shoot to have a magical feel to it, as the brief was to create a editorial for a magazine of your choice (lula, queen of magical magazines) and my theme was swans, this combined with the trend of monochrome.

monochrome isn't something i would usually go for, i love colour and shooting in colour but the black and white made the photographs a little more special.

you shout it loud, but i can't hear a word you say.

i thought i would share some pictures from last term, my project was to chose a brand and create images for advertising using influence from film genres and artists for location, mood and styling (all a bit la di da i know kids)

i chose hunter wellingtons (if you hadn't guessed) the inspiration i used was one of my favourite artists jack vettriano mixed with my love for the mod film quadrophenia.

i chose brighton beach as the it combines the heritage feel that hunter embody and the vintage style that i get from my inspirations.

sorry for the ramble but i wanted to explain a little bit about them as a lot of planning and thinking went into the project.  

off topic i'm not 100% happy with my blog at the moment going back to taking pictures in my uni back garden feels like a bit of a step backwards after the posts at christmas which i was really happy with, its probably just me being negative but i just feel that quality is better than quantity.

i've just got back to uni and am tucked up in my bed doing work whilst wishing i had one last roast.

hello lovelies, this was a shoot from friday for one of my university projects. i shot it in one of my favourite places, the maze in a public gardens in saffron walden, the light is always so magical there!

i just want to say a huge massive thank you to everyone that reads my blog as i got to one hundred followers last night. i didn't think i would get one follower let alone one hundred! okay thank you ramble over now.

i'm off to norfolk today to stay with my family and hopefully take some more pictures of the beautiful phoebe.

in between forcing my suitcase closed and eating the contents of my fridge i decided to share some pictures i took of the beautiful zoe for one of university projects, I'm a little bit in love with them and zoe's hair is amazzinnggg! 

i'm going home tomorrow for easter, ever since i went home a couple of weekends ago i got a taste for home again (mainly me being a wimp)  and my mama is playing mrs scott in the play terra nova (cue very proud daughter moment) plus i get to see the boy properly for the first time in ages which will be lovely!

i think i may have overworked myself, i worked for ten hours yesterday and seven today on my photography project i now have a dent in my hand from using my scissors too much and i had the shakes. i am really looking forward to coming home even though I'm not even going straight home on saturday, I'm going to jays and then a party (going to die a little). i have finally got a house for next year (everyone do the liv's got a house dance) so just need to remember to sort everything out with that once all my work is handed in and i can sleep (ohhh how i have missed sleep).

just a couples of pictures i did with liss this morning, we had the studio booked for nine so i had to leave at seven forty five to round everyone up (so early that i missed the fire alarm that woke everyone up) i am so tiered, tiered of the city, the grim kitchen/bathrooms, tiered of distance and trying to be patient about everything.

some photographs i took of the beautiful emily last saturday for one of my university projects, the light was lush and autumnal. we used my horse jazz who was more interest if emily had food rather than standing still so mama was standing in the wings waving pony nuts around. i have been house hunting with the girls and realising how close all my deadlines are, oh student life!
